Pro:

1/ fluffy little pet that loves you

2/ it is improved that having a cat reduce stress in owners life

3/ it gives you nice warm at night

 

Cons:

1/ possibility of diarrhoea / vomiting =  unexpected little mess in you home

2/ scratches and bites at your palms/ hands/ fingers/ legs

3/ constantly damaged texture of furnitures

4/ spending money on food, toys, vets etc.

5/ being obliged to take care of it after work, during weekends, on holidays, at vacations 

6/ taking responsibilty of it, so you shall not leave cat alone for too long if there isn't such necessity.
